Parv Kaur (founder) of Eternal Taal, independently established her very own entertainments team in 1999. The journey began in circa 1993 where she fell in love with Bhangra arts following the footsteps of her widely recognized father (Balbir Bhunjany).
Parv had a vision of infusing Bhangra arts with other genres of music promoting inclusivity and diversity to wider audiences. The vision coupled with the passion of music heightened Parv’s ambition to create an unstoppable powerhouse of talented women playing the Indian drum and dancing to the beats of Bhangra.
Parv embraced every opportunity she could to showcase the talent of her team and pushed through various obstacles to spread the love she had for Bhangra on stages such as Glastonbury, starring in Bollywood film shoots, performing at the House of Commons, the BBC and at the parade for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
25 years on, Parv has been nominated to display her talent, wisdom and charisma at ‘The Bhangra Nation – Musical,’ the first of its kind, which has been set to premier this year 2024, in Birmingham, where Parv will be part of the band that will accompany the musical. The Bhangra Musical is composed of a joyful yet powerful story of Indian and Western dance forms coming together creating a magical and colorful explosion on stage.
Parv will be arriving on stage showcasing her unique talents that will have the audience tapping to the sounds of her sensational and intoxicating beats.
